Open Call for ‘Most Wanted’ Berlin Showcase: four Danish bands wanted

New collaboration with showcase festival in Berlin – four acts wanted

On November 10, four Danish bands will play at the Most Wanted festival Berlin. The showcase festival is run by the Berlin Music Commission and has existed since 2014. Most Wanted aims with their conference and music festival to contribute to “a new deal for the music industry: one that works better for more people. One that is more inclusive, transparent and fair to those that make the music we love.”

Four Danish bands will be selected by the MXD board in cooperation with the Most Wanted festival to play showcases on Thursday 10 November. The Danish bands will be spread over four different venues in Kulturbrauerei, Berlin. Before the concerts, there will be networking opportunities for Danish professionals representing the bands playing at the festival. The selected artists/bands are guaranteed support from MXD on usual terms.

The new collaboration is a follow-up to the 7 showcases held at Badehaus in Berlin in June. ROSA – Danish Rock Council and Music Export Denmark (MXD) have entered into the new collaboration with Most Wanted as part of the Danish NEUSTART, a joint initiative between Danish music’s four genre organisations, MXD and the Danish Embassy in Berlin. The initiative aims to support a new beginning for music’s many scenes and to strengthen cooperation between Danish and German music.
