MXD, ROSA and Tempi have entered into a new collaboration with radio FluxFM in Berlin as part of the Danish NEUSTART initiative.
Bergfest in Berlin: This collaboration opens the door for 2-3 Danish bands to perform at the radio station’s popular concert format, Bergfest, on 11 October.
Bergfest is very popular with German radio listeners. It aims to introduce new bands to the German market through radio airplay and interviews as well as a concert at the radio’s FluxBau venue in the centre of Berlin. Bergfest takes place on Wednesdays in the summer and autumn with different themes such as label nights, genre nights and in our case, a Danish night.
The Bergfest concert and networking will take place at FluxBau on 11 October from late afternoon into the night.
How to apply as an Artist – Deadline 10 July
Bands can apply for the showcase. Bands playing at Bergfest will be guaranteed support through MXD’s export support pool according to the usual terms and conditions, unless they receive support from Tempi.

Flux FM has 28,000 listeners per hour and approximately 200,000 listeners daily. Bands that perform are therefore guaranteed exposure to Flux FM’s target audience of 20-41 year olds.
Networking events: Prior to the concerts, networking for Danish and German industry professionals is organised by MXD, ROSA and Tempi with expert support from our German pr-partner Factory 92.
The project follows on from MXD’s recent networking event in Copenhagen (13-14 June), where eight German A&Rs visited Copenhagen, and where the songwriter camp – organised by ROSA, Aarhus Calling and Cutfather – with German writers also took part in the networking activities.
How to participate as an industry professional – Deadline 1 September
