NEUSTART presents: Danish-German Music Industry Meeting

NEUSTART brings together key players from the Danish and German music scene in Berlin in June.

MXD, ROSA and TEMPI have joined forces to produce a one-day programme featuring concerts by Danish acts, and plenty of networking. PROMUS, Music Cities Network and Factory 92 are partners in the event.

The event is part of NEUSTART, a joint initiative between Danish music’s four genre organisations, Music Export Denmark (MXD) and the Danish Embassy in Berlin. The initiative aims to support a new beginning for music’s many scenes and to strengthen cooperation between Danish and German music.

Conny Jørgensen (ROSA), Laia Kverneland (TEMPI) and Thomas Rohde (MXD) point out in a joint statement about NEUSTART:

“Germany is one of the most important music markets and the German industry is one of the most important partners for Danish music. It is therefore obvious to pool the networks and other resources of our organisations and the Embassy around a focused effort. And it is obvious to cooperate with PROMUS and the Music Cities Network on this”.

An open call for artists and guests is now up on MXD’s, TEMPI’s, and ROSA’s websites.
