BauSongs writing-camp in Berlin connects Danish and German song-writers

What happens when German and Danish song-writers meet for a week of intense training?

In October 10 song-writers from Denmark and Germany met at a hostel in Kreuzberg. They didn’t know each other yet but they were going to learn a lot together in the coming week at the Bauteil 3 Studios in the former Tempelhof airport.

The idea of BauSongs came from songwriter, film-composer, and educator Kaspar Kaae, and songwriter Michael Møller. Together with songwriter Greta Schenck (GRETA), they offered the young talents a week of intense training, visits with Berlin based producers,  publishers, and DJ Mijk van Dijk.

“BauSongs has provided a number of great connections between Danish and German based song-writers and of course connections to the German publisher Jörg Rottgard who invited them all to send him and producer Farao their music. Besides, I think the participants have all gained a lot of compositional inspiration and tools from the camp”, says Michael Møller.
