In one of Berlin’s most beautiful settings right on the Spree, three Danish artists play live at this Danish version of the popular Bergfest in the home of Berlin’s FluxFM radio, Wednesday, October 11.
The artists are JJ Paulo, Lydmor, and Lasse Matthiessen – learn more about them below. All three concerts are free and audiences who come first are served first.
The Danish NEUSTART-organisations Music Export Denmark, Tempi, and ROSA are proud to have established this showcase in partnership with FluxFM – from where the concerts also will be transmitted!
JJ Paulo’s musical expression and showmanship on stage are of high quality. When JJ Paulo takes the stage, African rhythms are delivered with confidence, charm, humor, and tireless energy resulting in smiles, laughter, and fire in the feet of the audience. The singer has visited BBC Radio, various festival stages in Denmark, Germany, and Africa, and most recently JJ Paulo has released the EP ‘JORAM’.
Lydmor has established herself as one of the most exciting artists on the Danish and international music scene. The electronic music and visually sumptuous live shows have become her hallmark, but the eternally searching, curious and talented artist contains much more, as her new album testifies .Accompanied only by piano, subtle synths and without the use of beats, Lydmor has set out to operate with her other strengths. Including the vocals which are more nuanced and expressive than ever.
Lasse Matthiessen – a Berlin-based Danish indie artist – has toured almost everywhere in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, Denmark, Poland and the Czech Republic -the list is long. He performed at various festivals such as Reeperbahn, c/o Pop, Mayfield Derby, Immergut, New Fall Festival and played as support for Clueso, Anna Calvi, Glen Hansard and Suzanne Vega, was a feature artist on the TV Noir tv-show and played in their ZDF live shows and concert tours. Now Lasse is back with the next single, which will be released on August 18th, 2023, and more tracks ahead of the release of his new album in February 2024. The release will be accompanied by a tour in Germany and Denmark.
